Teachers’ Day Best Message Contest – 2015

Teachers’ Day is one such event for which students and teachers equally look forward to. This day is celebrated to acknowledge the challenges, hardships and the special role that teachers play in students’ life. Teachers look forward to this day as their efforts get recognized and honored.In fact, more than a profession, teaching is a divine responsibility to guide and enlighten.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the College organized Teachers’ Day Best Message Contest – 2015 in commemoration of Teachers’ Day in association with ICFAI Business School (IBS), from September 01 to 05, 2015 in the college campus. Students enthusiastically penned their messages on the 6X8 feet banner. 40 students participated in the contest. The messages of following students won the prizes. Ms. Aishwarya Acharya, III BBM secured the first prize. Mr. Ganapathi Bhat,III B. Com. secured the second and Ms. Pranitha Salian, II B. Com. secured the third prize.

Principal Dr. K. V. Malini in her address through PAS said – “Teachers play a pivotal role in making their students responsible citizens of tomorrow and good human beings. It is impossible to imagine our lives without teachers. They are the cornerstone of our future. They dedicate their lives to shaping young minds. Where we stand as a society tomorrow depends largely on our teachers today. Such is the greatness of a Guru.”She congratulated the all the participants and prize winners for penning beautiful messages.

This contest exemplified the relationship between teachers and students. The befitting messages penned by students expressed tribute to their loving teachers. The session strived to achieve the core values of contributing to inculcating value system among the students.
