On the occasion of Founders Day, the Principal, Prof. M. Satish Bhat hoisted the flag. In his talk he said “November 19th is a day of rememberance of the convictions and concerns of our founder with which the founder established Educational and Financial institutions.Education and Bank represents Knowledge and Wealth.The Canara educational institutions and Canara Bank are remarkable in their respective fields.The seeds sown by our founder a century ago has grown into huge tree providing shelter to the society in terms of education, employment opportunities and financial support.Thus contributing to the welfare, prosperity and progress of the society”. Ms. Sapna and Aradhana Nayak of II Bcom spoke about the contributions of the founder Ammembal Subba Rao Pai.
The Principal, the Student Welfare Officers, Prof. M. Manohar Shetty and Dr. K.V. Malini, Sri Hitendra Kothari, President, PTA, Sri Santosh Prabhu, President, Alumni Association and Student Council office bearers paid tributes by offering flowers to the bust of the founder.
