Workshop on Dengue and Maleria awareness was conducted by National Service Scheme of our college. Dr. Arun Kumar, District vector borne diseases control officer, Dakshina Kannada and Shri Jayaram Poojari, Senior Health Officer, Dakshina Kannada were the resource persons. Dr. Arun Kumar, explained in detail regarding the symptoms
and different ways of spreading process of both Dengue and Maleria diseases.
Shri Jayaram Poojari gave adetailed account of various types of preventive methods of these two diseases.Both the resource persons explained through their power point presentations and practical demonstrations.
Totally the workshop was very successful in conveying the detailed information in a short time to student participants.Students also promised to spread the awarness regarding the diseases among the people in the society.
NSS Programme Officers Dr. M.S Joshi Kumble and Shri Vasanth Kumar encouraged the students being present in the programme.NSS Secretaries Shri Lalan Kumar delivered the welcome speech and kumari Shri Krithi proposed the vote of thanks.Secretary Kumari Ashwitha,conducted the programme.
