Ranganathan’s Day was Celebrated at Canara College Library on August 12, 2019 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr S R Ranganathan, the Father of Library Science. Mr. Shridhar Prabhu, Office Assistant, Canara College, Mangaluru was the chief guest of the programme. Principal Dr. K.V. Malini, presided over the function.
Members of the library committee and other staff, students were present and paid tribute to Dr. S.R. Ranganathan. Students were highly motivated and realized the significance of the day.
