With the motive to develop reading habit and leadership skills in students, the Library and Information Centre, with the initiative of the Student Representatives of Library Advisory Committee, organised the Readers Club Membership Drive, in nine sessions held from October 15, 2022 to November 05, 2022 in the Library Reading Room.
Ms. Sheethal Pai, III B.Sc, Mr. Adithya and Ms. Meghana of III B.Com explained the benefits of Readers Club to the freshers and also briefed them about the students’ involvement in organizing library activities. During each session, the senior students interacted for five minutes with the students. Librarian Mrs. Kavitha explained how to update one’s knowledge. Previous years programmes were shown through PPT. Total of 463 students were registered through this membership drive.
