Cell for Advanced Studies in Science and Technology (CASST)

The Cell for Advanced Studies in Science and Technology (CASST) was established in the academic year 2019–20 with the objective of fostering scientific inquiry, technological innovation, and a research-oriented mindset among students. The Cell serves as a platform for students to explore emerging trends, exchange ideas, and engage with practical applications in science and technology. It strives to nurture critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities, while also encouraging collaborative learning and interdisciplinary approaches, and capacity building initiatives. The Cell envisions creating an ecosystem that inspires learners to go beyond classroom learning and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of knowledge.

Objectives:

  • To promote awareness and interest in emerging areas of science and technology.
  • To encourage research aptitude and innovation through projects, seminars, and workshops.
  • To provide opportunities for skill development in advanced tools, techniques, and applications.
  • To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
