Data Analyst Program for Business Excellence & Innovation

The Centre for PG Studies in Computer Application (MCA), in association with the Training, Internship, and Placement Cell, will be organizing a 100-hour certificate course titled “Data Analyst Program for Business Excellence & Innovation” for the First-Year MCA and M.Com. students. The programme is being conducted in collaboration with Career Ladder Technologies Ltd. with the objective of strengthening students’ analytical, technical, and industry-relevant skills.

The commencement and introductory session of the course was held on February 21, 2026, at 10.00 a.m. During the session, the resource person Mr. Kiran Rao from CLT introduced the course structure, training methodology, evaluation methods, and expected learning outcomes. They highlighted the increasing importance of data analytics in today’s data-driven business environment, emphasizing how organizations utilize analytics to improve decision-making, innovation, and operational efficiency.

The program is designed to provide hands-on training in data analysis, data visualization tools, and business intelligence techniques along with exposure to real-world case studies. Through practical learning sessions, students will develop the ability to analyze data, interpret patterns, and generate meaningful insights that support business strategies.

Mrs. Shailaja Kumary T.G., Assistant Professor in MCA and Convener of the Training, Internship and Placement Cell welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Jayabharathi K.P., Head, Centre for PG Studies in Computer Application (MCA) explained the purpose of introducing this certificate course. Mrs. Shwetha, Assistant Professor in MCom. and Co-Convener of the Training, Internship, and Placement Cell, proposed a vote of thanks. Dr. Premalatha V., Principal of the college, presided over the function.

A total of 55 students of MCA and 5 students of M.Com. participated during this session.
