“Violence-Free Society: Women’s Safety and Its Impact on National Progress”

The Women Empowerment Cell organized a session as part of National Integration Week to create awareness on women’s safety, empowerment, and their role in national development. The resource person, Ms. Manjula L, PSI Urwa Police Station addressed key areas including:

• Financial empowerment of women and the importance of economic independence.

• Women-related committees and legal provisions, including ICC and major safety laws.

• Stress management and self-care techniques for emotional well-being.

• Cyber-crime awareness, online safety practices, and guidelines for reporting Cyber- offences.

The session aimed at equipping students with knowledge to safeguard themselves and contribute positively to society. A total of 60 female students benefited from the session. The program proved to be highly informative and impactful.
