The Library Book Exhibition is an educational and cultural event designed to promote reading habits and create awareness about the wide range of resources available in the library. The programme showcases a diverse collection of books, including fiction, non-fiction, reference materials, biographies, current affairs and newly added titles. Attractive displays, thematic arrangements, and informative labels help visitors explore books in an engaging and organized manner.
The Department of Library and Information Centre of our college in association with IQAC, organized a week -long Library Book Exhibition 2k25 titled “Knowledge Carnival”. The Exhibition was held in the Library Reading Room from November 14, 2025, to November 21, 2025.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Mrs. Rekha Devi K., Retired Librarian, Canara College, who served as the Chief Guest for the event. The programme was presided over by Dr. Premalatha V., Principal of the college. Mrs. Anasuya Bhagvath, IQAC Coordinator, Mrs. Shruthi, Convenor of the Library and Information Centre, along with the other members of the Centre, were present on the occasion, adding significance to the event. A total of 640 students benefitted from this exhibition.
