On account of World Suicide Prevention Day (September 10, 2025), NSS volunteers of Canara College performed a Street Play at City Centre Mall, Mangaluru, on the theme “Hold On, Tomorrow Needs You.” The play highlighted real-life situations leading to stress, depression, and suicidal thoughts, while emphasizing the importance of seeking timely help, offering emotional support, and spreading positivity.
A total of 42 NSS Volunteers actively participated in the successful performance of the street play. The performance attracted the attention of the mall visitors and effectively communicated the message of hope, resilience, and collective responsibility in preventing suicides.
