In order to pay homage to the great writer Dr. Kota Shivarama Karantha, Department of Kannada, Canara College and Dr. Kota Shivarama Karantha Adhyayana Peetha jointly organized a seminar on the topic ‘Dr. Kota Shivarama Karanthara Prayogasheelathe’ on May 17, 2025, in the college Seminar Hall.
Dr. Varadaraja C H, Principal of Govt. First Grade College, Bettampady was the Resource Person of this program. The Chief Guest for the program was Dr. Y Narayana, Senior Professor, Department of Physics, Mangaluru University, while Principal Dr. Premalatha V presided over it. Dr. Subhashini Shrivatsa, Director of Dr.Shivarama Karantha Adhyayana Peetha , Mangaluru University welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Vani U S, Head of Department of Kannada proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Parashurama U compered the event. 75 students benefitted from this program.
