Knowing the self is the most important aspect of being human. It helps one to become a better decision-maker. It boosts self-confidence. So, as a result, one can communicate with clarity and intention. It allows one to understand things from multiple perspectives. It frees us from our assumptions and biases. It helps to build better relationships.
Self-awareness is a fundamental step in cultivating a growth mindset, encouraging individuals to seek feedback. To learn these things, a seminar was organized by the Career Guidance Cell on the topic “Understanding the Self for a Successful Career” on Thursday, September 12, 2024, for the students, in Room No.22.
Mr. Karrthik Alva, Trainer-Personality Development, conducted the seminar, interacted with the participants, and explored the basic etiquette, and how to face the interview. He explained how one could clear the interview through confidence and good communication. He also advised the participants, that to be successful one should set goals, possess good interpersonal skills, and build a good network among the people in the society. 56 students have actively participated in the program.
