The Department of Physical Education organized an Inter-Class Chess Tournament on November 20th &21st, 2024 in Room No. 09 for all interested students. This program was inaugurated by our Principal Dr. Premalatha V. Physical Education Directors, Mr. Avinash and Mr. Karthik coordinated among the students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all classes showcasing their talent and passion for chess. Matches were played in a well-organized manner adhering to standard chess rules and ensuring fairness. Playing Chess games will sharpen young minds and enhance overall brain functioning
In the Men section, a total of 27 members were registered. Gopal Krishna of III BCA A was the winner and Sagar S. Swamy of II B. Com B was the runner-up. In the Women’s section, a total of 7 members were registered. Sindhoora of III BCom B was the tournament winner, and Nikitha Kamath of III BCom A won the title of runner-up. The inter-class tournament was a resounding success, achieving its goal of promoting a culture of strategic thinking and healthy competition. Students participated enthusiastically in this tournament.
