The Department of Physical Education organized an Inter-Class Kabaddi Tournament for both Men and Women on November 15, 2025, at the college ground. The event aimed at promoting physical fitness, building team spirit, and encouraging healthy competition among students. The tournament witnessed vibrant participation, energetic performances, and enthusiastic support from both players and spectators.
This program was inaugurated by our correspondent, CA M. Jagannath Kamath encouraged the students to actively participate in sports and highlighted the importance of teamwork and discipline. Our Principal, Dr. Premalatha V., and administrator Dr. Deepthi Nayak were present during the inauguration. Physical Education Directors, Mr. Avinash and Mr. Karthik, coordinated among the students. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various classes.
In the Men’s section, a total of 16 teams from various classes competed in a knock-out format. Each team displayed commendable strength, agility, and coordination, making every match exciting and highly competitive. After a series of well-fought encounters, III BCA D emerged as the Champions. Showcasing exceptional raiding and defensive strategies. III BCom B secured the runner-up position with an equally spirited performance, giving tough competition till the final whistle.
In the Women’s section, 6 teams participated and demonstrated remarkable determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The matches were closely contested, highlighting the increasing interest and talent of the players. III BSc claimed the title of Winners, and III BCA B stood as the Runners up.
Students actively participated with enthusiasm, showcasing sportsmanship and mutual respect. The event also helped in identifying talented players who can be trained for future competitions. Overall, the tournament contributed to the holistic development of students and created a vibrant and energetic atmosphere on campus. Overall, the Inter-Class Kabaddi Tournament 2025 was a grand success, leaving behind memorable moments and inspiring students to take part in future activities.
