Encouraging active participation in social and environmental causes, the Rover and Rangers unit of the college initiated a beach cleaning activity on March 2, 2025, at Tannirbavi Beach, Mangaluru. A total of 13 students, along with the Rover and Ranger Leaders, actively participated in the initiative. The team enthusiastically contributed to cleaning the beach area, reflecting their commitment towards a cleaner and greener environment.
The activity not only helped in improving the cleanliness of the beach but also served as a platform to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic pollution and littering. Participants were sensitized to the importance of preserving coastal ecosystems and encouraged to take up similar initiatives in the future. The event concluded with a sense of accomplishment and a renewed pledge to protect nature. Ranger leader Mrs. Savitha D. K. and Rover leader Mr. Karthik N. coordinated the activity.
