As per the circular issued by the National Service Scheme (NSS), Mangalore University, various programs were organized under the theme “Sardar @150” to highlight Sardar Patel’s role in national integration and unity.
On October 30, 2025, the NSS Units of our college conducted a quiz competition which was held to enhance students’ knowledge about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s life, achievements, and his role in shaping modern India. And also, as part of the observance, NSS volunteers conducted a cleanliness drive in the college campus, promoting Swachhata and social responsibility. A total of 38 volunteers participated in the quiz.
On October 31, 2025, NSS volunteers and Programme Officers took the National Unity Day Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to preserve the unity, integrity, and security of the nation. A total of 136 volunteers participated in the pledge.
Additionally, posters related to Sardar @150 and National Unity Day were displayed in the college campus to create awareness among students and highlight the importance of the occasion.
