The Department of Commerce organized a Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) for all Final Year B. Com students on October 09, 2025, in Smt. Ratna S. Shenoy Memorial Seminar Hall. The session commenced with a prayer by Ms. Ananya, a student of II B. Com A. Following the prayer, the faculty members were introduced to the parents. Mrs. Dejamma A, Head of the Department of Commerce, addressed the gathering and provided an overview of key academic matters, internal examination, shortage of attendance and its implications, the importance of internships, and Add-on courses offered by the department. Parents were given the opportunity to share their observations, concerns, and suggestions regarding the college’s academic and administrative processes. The meeting then continued in three separate sessions coordinated by the respective Academic Class Mentors for one-to-one interactions with the faculty:

The individual meetings provided an opportunity for detailed discussion on students’ academic progress, behavioural observations, and ways to support them better. The PTM witnessed active participation of 53 parents from III B.Com A, 55 parents from III B. Com B, 6 parents from III B.Com C.
