Department of Botany in association with the Nature Club organized Poster poster-making competition on account of World Wildlife Day on October 10, 2024, at 3.30 pm in the botany lab for the students of Canara College. Observation of Wildlife Day is dedicated to raising awareness about endangered species, wildlife conservation, and the protection of natural habitats. It serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving and appreciating the diverse wildlife that inhabits our planet. The theme for poster poster-making competition was “ Connecting People and Planet: Exploring Digital Innovation in Wildlife”. A total of 10 students participated in the competition. Mrs. Sushama. C, H.O.D of Zoology, and Mrs. Soujanya, Assistant Professor in Chemistry judged the competition. Druvi and a team of III B.Sc won first prize. Saikirthyan and Chethan of I B.Sc won Second prize.
