The Student Welfare Council of our College visited Chethana Child Development Center, Mangaluru on June 27, 2023. With the permission of the Principal of Chethana School, students were escorted by the staff of the school to the program hall. The program started with an introduction about Canara College and the purpose of its visit by the College President Mr. Abhin Bangera. Other members of the council, association heads, and college students were present on the occasion.
After the introduction, the music and dance performances were given by the students of our College. The opportunity was given to the students of Chethana School, too, to perform. Refreshment was distributed among nearly 60 students and above ten staff members of Chethana School. Before bidding a loving goodbye to the students, voluntary feedback was taken from the students of Chethana School regarding our visit to their school. It was, indeed, one of the most memorable visits.
Altogether 15 students from our College took part in this activity. This activity has inculcated values such as contribution to Nation development and Inculcating value system.
