Drawing is a form of visual art in which an artist uses instruments to mark paper or another two- dimensional surface. To enhance the drawing skills of our students, a drawing competition on the topic “Designing the cover page of Canara College Magazine of Golden Jubilee year” was organized by the Fine Arts Association on March 29, 2023, on the eve of the fiftieth-year annual day celebration. Students actively participated in this competition. A total of 22 students took part in this competition.

Mrs. Vinoda V Nayak Asst.Professor, Dept. of Commerce and Management and Mr. Vinayaraj C. G, officer NMPT were the judges. Yathin Acharya I BCA won first prize, Gautham S from III B.Com won second prize and M Varsha from II B.Com won third prize.

Mrs. Jayashree Shetty, Convenor of the association and Mrs Soujanya D, Mrs. Keerthi Alva, Mrs. Laxmi Hegde, and Mrs. Kavitha Ganesh Co-convenors coordinated this activity.• It strived to achieve a quest for excellence and foster global competencies.
