On account of Siddha Day 2023, Botany Department in association with Nature Club of our college organized Elocution competition on the topic “Siddha Medicinal System” on January 9, 2023 at 3.10pm in the Botany lab.. Mrs. Sushama. C, Assistant professor, Department of Zoology was the judge.
The event commenced with the introduction of the participants followed by announcing rules of the competition. All the participants delivered their best performance and kept the show alive with their fiery speeches. 8 students participated in the competition. Dhanush of I B.Sc secured first place, Kavyasree of I BCA secured second place and Padmashree of I BCA won third place. Ms. Madhushree, H.O.D, Botany and Mrs. Nishvitha Shetty, Convenor of Nature Club coordinated the event. This activity strived to achieve quest for excellence fostering global competence.
