Mehendi is associated with positive spirits and good luck. On the eve of annual day celebration Mehendi competition was organized by Fine arts association on May 31, 2022. Irrespective of the exposure and experience, students adorned the hands with beautiful designs which helped them boost their confidence in the art. This activity mainly aimed to provide a platform to students to exhibit their talent and creativity. 56 students from different programs enthusiastically participated in this competition.
Mrs Vidya Kamath beautician, and Ms Sahana Acharya, Graphic Designer were the judges. This event was judged based on the criteria Design, Neatness and Creativity. Ms. Raksha H Shet, Shrithika and Ananya J from B.Com were awarded first, second and third prize respectively for their best art which captured the eyes of judges. The active participation of all the participants was well appreciated by the judges.
Mrs Jayashree Shetty, Convener of the association, Mrs Keerthi Alva, Mrs Soujanya D, Mrs Kavitha Ganesh, Mr. Manohar Acharya and Ms Meghana Ramesh Co-convenors coordinated the activity.
