Condolence Meet in memory of Former Hon’ble Prime Minister Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee

With utmost respect and reverence on the sad demise of the Former Prime Minister of India, Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) through the Staff Welfare Association organized a formal condolence meet in his memory on August 17, 2018 in the College Seminar Hall.

Staff Welfare Secretary Mrs. Pushpalatha said – “A great son of Mother India is no more. But his service to the people of India as Prime Minister of the nation,the memories of speeches and his peculiar qualities of tolerance and magnanimity will live on forever. Nonetheless, Atalji’s tireless noble work for the welfare of the people of India will always be an inspiration to future generations of leaders. An excellent orator and an eminent poet Sri Vajpayeeji took significant strides towards acceleration of inclusive economic growth in India. His passing away will certainly create a vacuum in the political circle of the country.”

President of Students’ Council Amith Prabhu paying his tributes said – “India toady has lost the most loveable and charismatics leader Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji. He will always be remembered for his contribution in the freedom struggle, the way he handled Kargil War and courageous Pokhran tests. His remarkable poetries will inspire generations to come.”
IQAC Coordinator Dr. Premalatha V., paying glowing tribute to Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji described the Former Prime Minister as – “a great economic reformer under whose visionary leadership the country made rapid strides in economic growth. A guiding light for the nation through all his years in public life, an illustrious leader with a distinct capacity, great sense of compassion and humor, he will be forever fondly remembered by a vast number of us.”

Principal Dr. K. V. Malini expressing her condolence remarked that – “On passing away of Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji, the country has lost one of the most famous sons of India, a man of enormous knowledge, a great patriot, true parliamentarian, renowned statesman, a veteran leader and a rare breed of politicians who was very popular for his non-partisan politics. He will be ever remembered for his significant contributions towards good governance in the nation.”

All the staff members and the Office Bearers of Students’ Council expressed their heartfelt sympathy and condolences and prayed for the eternal peace of his departed soul.
