NSS Units organized an orientation programme for the newly enrolled volunteers July 11, 2018 at college seminar hall. Sri I N Noronha, the H.O.D of Commerce and former NSS officer of the college was the resource person.Principal Dr. K V Malini in her presidential address, congratulated the volunteers for upholding the name and fame of Canara through NSS activities.
The NSS Programme Officer, Mrs.Dejamma, briefed the volunteers on the NSS motto, the importance of the NSS symbol and badge, the aims and objectives, the role and duties of volunteers, as well as the activities to be performed in the village adopted by the unit. She also presented the activities planned for the academic year. Ms. Vindya, the programme officer, administered the oath to the students. 125 students participated in the programme.
