In compliance to the directions received by the Election Commission, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the College organized a one day Awareness, Demonstration and Training Programme on “Operating Electronic Voting Machine” on Monday, April 09, 2018 from 10:00 AM onwards, in the college campus. The Polling Officers facilitated the training programme. This initiative of educational programme was a part of 203, Mangalore South Constituency No. 62, 63 and 63A ward.
The Polling Officers and the trainers explained the functioning of Ballot Unit, Control Unit, other allied functions and operations of the electronic voting machines. They demonstrated its actual functioning and interacted with the students.
Principal Dr. K. V. Malini acknowledged the trainers for practically acquainting the students about operating EVM. IQAC Coordinator Mrs. Shanthi Roche proposed the vote of thanks.Over 100 students benefitted from this training progarmme.
The training programme successfully created awareness and familiarized the students on using EVM through hands-on demonstration.It strived to achieve the core values of contributing to the national development and promoting the use of technology.
