The maiden edition of Canara Premier League (CPL) was inaugurated on March 23, 2018 at college ground. The department of Sports and Games and sports and games Association organized the tournament from March 23 to March 31 2018. Like IPL model, each team was assigned a specific budget to make their bids on players. The auction of players was held at College seminar hall. Total of 11 teams and 110 players participated in this mega event. Total 110 students participated in this program.
