Briefing Session on “Pre-Examination Process” of the Mangalore University Semester Examination

As directed by the Managlore University, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the College organized a half day Briefing Session on “Pre-Examination Process” on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the College Seminar Hall. This session was in aid for the preparation of the ensuing University Semester Examination April / May 2018. Prof. A. M. Khan, Registrar (Evaluation), Managlore University and his team facilitated the session.

Prof. A. M. Khan while addressing the gathering said – the effectiveness of the entire examination process depends largely on how well it is planned, managed and how smoothly it is carried out. Hence, there is a vital role and responsibility on the part of the colleges in facilitating the smooth conduct of the entire examination process without causing any hassles.

He also emphasized on the reforms initiated by the University in the examination process, the role and responsibilities of the Colleges involved in ensuring the smooth conduct of the examination, possible assistance extended by the University to the colleges for their clarifications pertaining to the online entry and related procedures, and much more. The other officials in the team also threw light on the tasks to be carried out by the administrative office staff coordinating with the examination related work.

Principal Dr. K. V. Malini delivered the welcome address. IQAC Coordinator Mrs. Shanthi Roche proposed the vote of thanks.

The Principals and Office Staff of 75 Affiliated Colleges attended and benefitted from the session.The session seemed to very informative. It also cleared the clarifications sought by the attendees. The session strived to achieve the core value of eliciting quest for excellence amongst the attendees.
