The Kannada Department conducted a seminar on `Humanity and National consciousness on January 25, 2017 at College Seminar Hall. Dr.Savitri K ,Principal,Canara Evening College ,Mangalore was the resource person. In her lecture she stressed importance of National Integration and said,”It is animportant responsibility of Indian youth to protect Cultural and Natural heritage of the country. Youth should understand that learning to live together in peace and harmony has become the need of the hour. National integrity is possible when people tolerate the opinions and behaviour of others.”Mrs. Vani U.S ,Head of the Department And Mrs .Thara Kumari were present. Ms.Anusha welcoming the gathering and Mr. Harish Pai proposed the vote of thanks. Ms.Harshitha compered the programme. 50 students participated in the seminar.
