Educational field visit to Kotekar beeri and Ullal was conducted by Department of Botany on Saturday September 10, 2016 to Kotekar, Beeri andUllalSomeshwar and nearby places for I BZC. During thestudy field trip different types of freshwater algae, marine algae, fungi and bryophyte species as mentioned in the syllabus were collected. Professor and Head of the Department Dr.M.S.Joishi Kumble, Madhushree, Assistant Professor guided the students in Specimen collection. Lab Assistant Mr.Prashanth helped the students in collecting the specimen and samples. 34 students participated. Students has documented and submitted the report during practical examination.
