TirangaYatra program was held on August 20,2016 in association with St.Agnes college, Mangalore. The programme was initiated by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi with an objective to create awareness about tricolor and its importance among the youth of the nation.
Mr.Nalin Kumar Kateel, the MP of the district hoisted the national flag and National Anthem was sung. 80 NSS volunteers of the college participated in the rally from Jyothi circle, Mangalore.
