To develop practical skills among the high school students the Department of Chemistry organized one day Reaching out to society Programme of demonstration of experiments to the high school students on July 30, 2016 at Govt. High School, Amblamogaru. The main intention of this activity is to reach science to the remote schools which lack the basic facility like science lab. Basic science experiments are demonstrated to create curiosity and interest in science among high school students and to motivate them in basic science studies. Through these activities students not only enrich their knowledge but also encourage the high school students to develop interest in basic science studies. Students also develop laboratory and presentation skills which make them better employable.12 experiments were demonstrated to the students. 10 Students actively participated in this programme. A positive feedback was received from the students.
