On account of World Consumer Rights Day, the Consumer Forum of Canara College organized a quiz competition on March 16, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm to promote awareness about consumer rights and responsibilities. The quiz consisted of 50 multiple-choice questions. The questions covered topics such as the Consumer Protection Act, food safety, legal metrology, and online shopping security.
The event aimed to engage students in understanding consumer-related issues, laws, and practices in an interactive and educational manner. The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Lavina S. Noronha, Convener of the Consumer Forum, along with student coordinators Megha R and Apeksha. A total of 139 students participated in the quiz.
