LIBRARY ORIENTATION FOR UG STUDENTS

Orientation is a program to make students aware of the resources available in the library and to make them know that this is the place which contains all the resources required by students seeking knowledge for their career. With the aim to orient the First-Year students about the College Library, Mrs. Shruthi G. Librarian of the College organized the Library Orientation program in eight sessions from July 30,2025 to August 08,2025 in the College Library. During the sessions, the library staff members explained about the Library Software, Facilities, Book Bank Provision, Readers Club, Best Library User Award, Special Encouragement, Book Reviews, Book Culture etc. Further, we explained about the various resources, services, facilities available to students, and read out the rules to be followed by the students. 413 students were present for the orientation

Students availed their Library Membership Cards, and borrowed useful and relevant books for reference.This program strived to foster global competencies among students, and promote the use of technology.
