The Department of Commerce organized a curriculum enrichment programme titled “Students Research: Concept to Reality” on February 24, 2025. The session, conducted by Dr. Ajay, Assistant Professor at GFGC, Haleyangadi, aimed to equip students with essential research skills.
Dr. Ajay initiated the session by explaining the importance of research in academia and professional growth. He discussed various stages of research, including identifying a research problem, designing a research framework, data collection methods, and data analysis techniques. The session also highlighted the significance of ethical considerations in research.
The interactive session allowed students to seek clarifications on research methodologies and practical challenges. Dr. Ajay also shared insights on writing effective research reports and publishing research papers. The session concluded with a Q & A session, where students actively participated, demonstrating their enthusiasm for research. This programme was coordinated by Mrs. Anasuya Bhagvath and Mrs. Lavina S. Noronha, Faculties, Department of Commerce. 73 students participated in this curriculum enrichment programme.
