A Curriculum Enrichment Programme on “Taxation of international Transactions” was organized by the Department of Commerce and Management on January 23, 2023 from 1.15 p.m. to 2.15 p.m. The Program targeted to provide knowledge and guidance to the students on taxation of international transactions. The resource person, CA Prasanna K Puranik, Finance Controller, MystartupCfo, Bangalore elaborated on the various terms and definition relating to international taxation. He explained residency provisions, transfer pricing, APA, advance rulings, double taxation relief, BEPS and equalization levy, GAAR etc. He also explained tax benefits, incentives and reliefs available within the areas of business and across borders. The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Seema Prabhu and Mrs.Vinoda V Nayak, Conveners of this programme.126 students of III B.com B and III B. Com D were benefitted from this session.
