The Centre for PG Studies in Commerce facilitated the participation of M.Com final year students in the Thought Leaders Talk Series Edition 17, organized by ICT Academy on October 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The webinar focused on Smart Manufacturing 4.0, exploring the transformative role of industrial automation and intelligence in modern manufacturing processes. The session featured distinguished speakers including Mr. Srikanth V, Chief Executive Officer of ICT Academy, Mr. Harman Singh, Lead HRBP – Industrial Market at SKF India, Mr. Naresh Raina, Business Head at MSKH Sealing System India Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Raghav Grover, Director at JREW Engineering, who shared their expertise on cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies and their practical applications in contemporary business environments.
The webinar addressed three critical focus areas: AI-Driven Automation and Robotics, Industrial IoT and Data Intelligence, and Sustainable and Resilient Manufacturing Systems. 30 Students gained valuable insights into how artificial intelligence, robotics, and data-driven decision-making are revolutionizing manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and production efficiency. The interactive session enabled participants to understand the convergence of technology and commerce in modern industrial settings, exploring real-world applications of smart manufacturing systems. This exposure to emerging trends equipped students with knowledge beyond their traditional curriculum, preparing them to adapt to the evolving business landscape with greater awareness and competence in technological integration.
