The Anti-Ragging Cell of Canara College organized a Poster Making Competition titled “Ragging Free Campus: Create the Change” on September 20, 2025, in the Reading Room. Dr. Premalatha V., Principal of Canara College, graced the occasion, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to a ragging-free environment. Students showcased their creativity and awareness about maintaining a ragging-free campus through an engaging poster making competition. By participating in this event, students demonstrated their commitment to upholding values of respect, discipline, and harmony within the campus community. Mrs. Usha Nayak and Mrs. Shailaja Kumari, Convenors of the Anti-Ragging Cell, played a pivotal role. Ms. Sapthami Bhat, Student Cordinator, coordinated the competition effectively.
The primary objective was to sensitize students about the importance of maintaining a ragging-free campus and Encouraging students to contribute to creating a safe and respectful academic environment. Posters were evaluated based on their unique perspective and creative approach to conveying the message Results of the Competition are I Prize won by Ms. Yuthika J Karkera, III B.Sc., II Prize bagged by Ms. Vamshi J N, II B.Com B and III Prize won by Ms. Vaishnavi R Nayak, III B.Com A. A total of 16 students actively participated in this competition. This awareness competition contributed to National Development and inculcated a value system among the students.
