The Department of Chemistry organized an “Awareness Poster Activity on Laboratory Safety Techniques” for the II B.Sc. BZC students. The activity was conducted over a duration of one week and concluded on August 25, 2025.The activity focused on creating posters highlighting important laboratory safety techniques. This helped the students understand and emphasize the significance of following safety measures while working in the laboratory. The activity not only reinforced their awareness of safety guidelines but also encouraged creativity and collaborative learning. All the students participated with great enthusiasm and contributed actively to the session.
The activity was conducted under the guidance of Mrs. Roopashri K. P., the Head of the Department of Chemistry, as the person in charge of the activity. The activity concluded successfully and proved to be effective in enhancing awareness of laboratory safety, fostering teamwork, and improving student engagement. The activity helped in fostering global competencies and human excellence by enhancing teamwork, creativity, and responsibility among students.
