The Rovers and Rangers Association celebrated 79th Independence Day with enthusiastic participation from the students, staff and non-teaching staff on August 15, 2025, in the college quadrangle. Sri. Yogish R Damle, Rtd. Indian Air Force Officer was the Chief Guest of the program.
On the auspicious occasion, the Chief Guest spoke about the importance of tricolor flag and about patriotism. Correspondent of the college CA M. Jagannath Kamath, Principal Dr. Premalatha V., Principal in-charge Mrs. Dejamma A., Administrative Officer Dr. Deepti Nayak, and Principal of Canara Evening College Prof Mrs. Anila Kamath were present during the program.
Floral Tribute was offered to the Father of our Nation Mahatma Gandhiji and also to the architect of Indian Constitution Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. The dignitaries were introduced and welcomed by Saurav Salian, while Nagashree of III B.Com proposed the vote of thanks. Mohammad Saad of II B. Com compered the program. 600 students at the college were present during the program.
