In an effort to promote active participation in environmental and social causes, the Department of Zoology and Botany organized an outreach activity– “Cleanup for a Cause: Protecting Our Environment” at Sulthan Bathery, Mangaluru on May 15, 2025 at 3.30PM. A dedicated group of 37 students of I, II and III B.Sc., along with Academic Class Mentors and Departmental Faculties Mrs. Sushama C., Ms. Madhushree and Mrs. Pushpanjali S., took part in this meaningful initiative.
The event successfully raised awareness about the importance of preserving coastal ecosystems and motivated students to continue engaging in similar eco-conscious efforts. The cleanup concluded with a collective sense of achievement and a renewed commitment to environmental stewardship.
