The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell in association with Institution’s Innovation Council organized a Workshop on Business planning and Fund raising on May 22, 2025. Mr. Amith Prabhu, partner, Surabhi enterprises was the resource person. He began the session by talking about the basic concepts of commerce and accounting. He explained the various facets of revenues, expenses, profit and loss and cash flows. He further went on to create the business plan on excel taking the students along for a clear understanding of the financial statements concepts. The benefits of the session were that the students understood the various laws and regulations applicable to starting a business in India.
The workshop provided an opportunity to educate youngsters on the various initiatives the state offers and provide motivation to budding entrepreneurs.A total of 69 students and 2 faculty members attended the workshop. It was an interactive session and appreciated by all.
