On April 11, 2025, the Department of Physics organized a quiz competition in the Physics Laboratory for the First B.Sc. students. The final-year B.Sc. students, Ms. Prathiksha Kotiyan and Ms. Anusha Shenoy, gave instructions about the rules and regulations of the competition. The quiz consisted of two rounds: a written test and a “Guess the Scientist” round. The competition started at 11:45 a.m. Eight teams participated in the competition, each comprising two students. A total of 31 students participated.
Students showcased their knowledge and developed confidence in scientific communication. The quiz competition develops critical thinking among the students. Students strived hard and found their strengths and weaknesses in this competition. This Quiz competition strived to inculcate a value system and elicit a quest for excellence among the participants.
