The Department of Chemistry organized a Science Working Model Competition for II and III B.Sc. students. The competition was conducted on two different days, April 8, 2025, for II BSc students and April 11, 2025, for III BSc students. The event aimed to encourage creativity, teamwork, and practical application of scientific principles. Students were invited to form groups of 5 to 6 members, choose a scientific principle, and design a working model demonstrating the concept. Each group selected different scientific models and explained the scientific principle behind its working. The event was done with enthusiastic participation, with a total of 6 groups of 28 students (15 from 2nd year and 13 from 3rd year) showcasing a wide range of models related to science concepts. Some notable models included artificial dialysis, generation of energy by wind mills, hydraulic lift, etc.
