With green initiative, to take a step towards a greener environment, the Nature Club organized ‘Bird Nest Making Competition’ on March 19, 2025 in its Botany Laboratory. The bird nest was made out of eco-friendly products. The primary objective of the event was to encourage students to protect the homes of voiceless birds and provide them with shelter. Bird nest activities are a great way to introduce children to natural materials and the importance of these fragile environments.
Judgement was done based on creativity, practicality of design and eco-friendly material by Mrs. Sushama C, Assistant Professor in Zoology and Mrs. Pushpanjali S, Assistant Professor in Botany. Participants were awarded with e-certificates and winners with cash prize. 17 students participated in this competition.
