On account of Matribhasha Diwas, the Sanskrit, Kannada, Hindi Department and Tulu Association, Konkani Bhasha Vidyarthi Mandal organized a “Matribhasha Diwas” program on February 27, 2025, in the College Seminar Hall from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
Srimathi Rekha Devi was the resource person for the program. She spoke about the importance of mother tongues and all languages.
The Program was started with the prayer by II B.Com A students. Ms. Shravya A. Anchan from I B.Com B introduced the guest to the gathering. From the Department of Kannada, self-composed poetry recitation and Nadugannada poetry reading, Ranga Sangeetha by students. From the Department of Sanskrit, the Keechaka Vadha skit was presented by students. From the Department of Hindi, students presented the importance and challenges of Hindi. From KBVM, Bhajan and Poetry by students of KBVM. From Tulu Sangha, talk about the Tulu language. A total of 100 students benefitted from this programme.
Dr. Premalatha V. Principal of our college, graced the occasion and delivered the presidential remarks.
