The Centre for Postgraduate Studies in Computer Applications (M.C.A) organized a workshop on “Exploring Research – Planning for Publishing the Research Paper” on February 08, 2025, at 3.00 PM in Lecture Hall 11. Dr. Shashidhar Kini K., Professor & HOD, Department of MCA, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangalore was the resource person. In his session, he explained the importance of effective research work and gave an overview of steps in the research process, such as problem identification, literature Review, Research Design, Data Collection, Conclusion & Reporting.
The session was highly effective, enabling students to proceed smoothly with writing their research papers. Dr. Premalatha V., Principal, emphasized in her speech that postgraduate students must recognize the importance of research and actively contribute their ideas towards nation-building technologies. The formal program was organized by second-year MCA students. Mrs. Shailaja Kumari T.G., Assistant Professor in MCA, coordinated the feedback session, while Mrs. Jayabharathi K.P., Head of the Department, delivered the vote of thanks. A total of 36 second-year MCA students attended the session.
