The Centre for Post Graduate Studies in Computer Applications (M.C.A.) organized a session on “Project-Roadmap” for the Second-year MCA students on December 28, 2024, at 9:30 A.M. in Computer Science Lab 4.
Dr. Jeevan Pinto, Head and Associate Professor, Department of M.C.A., AIMIT, St. Aloysius College (Deemed to be University), Beeri, served as the Resource Person. In his presentation, he provided a categorized overview of various domains and discussed the scope of selecting project topics in key areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber Security, Data Science & Big Data, Web Development, and Cloud Computing. He also shared examples of potential project ideas to help students better understand real-world applications. Furthermore, Dr. Pinto highlighted a variety of tools and resources that can be used to enhance knowledge and skills in developing high-quality, innovative projects.
Dr. Premalatha V. encouraged and motivated the students to actively explore innovative ideas in their respective project fields. Mrs. Jayabharathi K. P., Head of the Department of M.C.A., concluded the program by summarizing the key points and delivering the vote of thanks at the end of the session. The entire session was organized by the Second-year M.C.A. students. 34 students from Second-year M.C.A. actively took part in the programme. This programme encouraged students to aim for the highest standards in performance, knowledge and outcomes in their project work, thereby upholding the core value of the ‘Quest for Excellence’.
