COLLAGE MAKING ACTIVITY

October 23, 2024

To raise awareness among volunteers about the pressing issue of “Environmental pollution and its impact on our health” the Youth Red Cross (YRC) Unit organized a Collage-making activity on October 23, 2024, for the volunteers of Youth Red Cross. The volunteers demonstrated exceptional teamwork and creativity as they crafted vibrant and informative collages on the given theme. Each collage highlighted various aspects of environmental pollution, such as air, water, and soil contamination, as well as their direct and indirect impacts on health and other critical health issues.

The collages were not only visually appealing but also conveyed powerful messages, urging everyone to take immediate action to reduce pollution and adopt sustainable practices. Volunteers in six teams presented their work, explaining the concepts and messages behind their collages. The YRC Programme Officers, Mrs. Roopashri K P and Mrs. Rashmi appreciated the volunteers for their enthusiasm and thoughtful approach.

The vibrant and meaningful collages served as a testament to the volunteers’ commitment to addressing environmental challenges and promoting health awareness. A total of 34 YRC volunteers in 6 different teams actively participated in the event. This made a creation of six impactful and visually appealing collages, enhancing understanding of environmental pollution and its health impacts.
