A seminar on “Gender Awareness and sensitivities “was organized by Women Empowerment Cell of Canara College, Mangalore on October 21, 2024 .The resource person was Mrs. Seema Prabhu, Head, Department of Business Administration, Canara College . This session focused on defining gender sensitivity, the social constructs of gender, and how they manifest in daily life. The resource person elaborated on how gender sensitivity can be integrated into educational systems and curricula. All the queries of the students were answered through interactive session. The session was well received by the students. 111 students were benefitted from this programme. The session was coordinated by Mrs.Vinoda V Nayak and Mrs.Adithi Nayak, the conveners of the Cell.
