The Rovers and Rangers Association of our College celebrated 78thIndependence Day with enthusiastic participation from the students, staff and non-teaching staff on August 15, 2024 in the college quadrangle. Mr. Bellala Gopinath Rao, Rtd. Indian Army Officer was the Chief Guest for the programme. On the occasion, Chief Guest spoke about the importance of our tricolor and about patriotism.
Correspondent of the college CA M. Jagannath Kamath, Manager Sri K. Shivanand Shenoy, Principal Dr. Premalatha V., Administrative Officer Dr. Deepthi Nayak, Principal of Canara Evening College Prof. Mrs. Anila Kamath were present during the programme.
Floral Tribute was offered to the Father of our Nation Mahatma Gandhiji and also to the architect of our Indian Constitution Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
The dignitaries were introduced and welcomed by Rover Mate Varadaraj. Anush of II BCA proposed the vote of thanks. Saurav Salian of II BCom compered the programme. 300 students of the college were present during the programme.
